God's Heart's Desire--The Church, R.S.

I was raised up in a fundamental Christian denomination. When I was in high school, I read a book called The Glorious Church by Watchman Nee. It showed a very clear picture of Christ and the church. The church comes out of Christ just as Eve came out of Adam. The church is the counterpart of Christ. It is God's heart's desire. It is the expression of Christ. I received a lot of light. That was 23 years ago.

Soon after I started to go to the meetings of the local church in which I heard more from the teachings of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee. I began to know more of Christ and the way to enjoy Him. Christ became so real to me. I began to see that the content of the church is just Christ. I started to know the true meaning of the church and I began to experience the reality of the church. It is not a physical building, not a chapel, but it is the redeemed and saved ones who have God's life and live by this divine life.

My living became so meaningful. I know why I exist and the meaning of my human life. Every day I am full of hope. I can live by God's life and live a normal Christian life, even a normal human life. I am full of joy and thankfulness to Him Who created me and regenerated me to be part of His Bride. Hallelujah!
